Avocado Toast with Poached Egg Recipe

This breakfast recipe is perfect for avocado lovers!

Avocado Toast with Poached Egg

Ingredients:

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  2. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit.
  3. Scoop the avocado flesh into a bowl and mash with a fork.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. In a medium-sized pot, bring water to a boil then reduce the heat to low.
  6. Add 1 tbsp vinegar to the water.
  7. Crack one egg into a small bowl.
  8. Gently pour the egg into the hot water and let it cook for 3 minutes.
  9. Remove the egg from the water with a slotted spoon and set it on a paper towel to dry.
  10. Repeat the process with the other egg.
  11. Scoop the mashed avocado onto the toast slices.
  12. Top each slice with a poached egg.
  13. Sprinkle chili flakes on top (optional).
