Blueberry Pancakes Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and stir until just blended.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Scoop 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
- Cook until the tops are bubbly and the edges are dry, then flip and cook until golden.
- Serve with butter and syrup.
