Classic Eggs Benedict Recipe 🍳

Eggs Benedict is a classic breakfast dish made up of two halves of an English muffin, topped with Canadian bacon, a poached egg, and hollandaise sauce. It may seem intimidating to make but with this recipe, you’ll be able to create the perfect breakfast in no time.

  1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. In a blender, blend together the egg yolks, lemon juice, salt, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
  3. While blending, slowly pour in the melted butter until the sauce is thick and creamy.
  4. Fill a large saucepan with water and bring to a simmer. Add the white vinegar.
  5. Crack an egg into a small bowl, then gently slide the egg into the simmering water.
  6. Repeat with the remaining eggs, cooking each for about 3 minutes or until the whites are set and the yolks are still runny.
  7. Place two English muffin halves on each plate, top each half with a slice of Canadian bacon, followed by a poached egg.
  8. Drizzle the hollandaise sauce over the eggs and garnish with chives or parsley, if desired.
