Berry Trifle Recipe

- 1 pound fresh strawberries ๐
- 1/2 pound fresh raspberries ๐
- 1/2 pound fresh blueberries ๐ซ
- 1/2 cup sugar ๐
- 1 Sara Lee poundcake, sliced ๐ฐ
- 1 container Cool Whip ๐ฆ
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix ๐ฅฃ
- 1 cup milk ๐ฅ
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ๐ฟ
- Wash and dry berries, reserving a few for garnishing. ๐งผ
- Add sugar to the berries and let sit for 30 minutes. ๐๐๐ซ๐
- Whisk together vanilla pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. ๐ฅฃ๐ฅ๐ฟ
- Arrange half of the poundcake slices in a 9x13 inch dish. ๐ฐ
- Cover the poundcake with half of the berry mixture. ๐๐๐ซ
- Spoon half of the pudding mixture evenly over the berries. ๐ฅฃ
- Spread half of the Cool Whip on top of the pudding. ๐ฆ
- Repeat with an additional layer of cake, berries, pudding, and Cool Whip, reserving a few berries for garnish. ๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฅฃ๐ฆ
- Garnish the top of the trifle with reserved berries. ๐๐๐ซ
- Refrigerate for at least three hours before serving. ๐ง
