Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 6 oz semisweet chocolate
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 large eggs + 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp salt
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F. Grease 4 ramekins.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate together in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Stir in powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add in eggs and egg yolks, one at a time, stirring after each addition, then add vanilla extract and stir until smooth.
- Add flour and salt and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared ramekins, filling them about 3/4 of the way full.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes, until the edges are firm but the centers are still jiggly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 1 minute before carefully flipping the cakes onto a plate.
- Serve warm, topped with ice cream or fresh berries.
