Grilled Teriyaki Chicken Skewers

Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes 🍗
- 1/4 cup soy sauce 🍱
- 1/4 cup brown sugar 🍚
- 2 tablespoons honey 🍯
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil 🍶
- 2 garlic cloves, minced 🧄
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger 🧑🍳
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 🌶️
- 2 green onions, sliced 🧅
- Skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes 🔥
Directions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger and black pepper.
- Add chicken cubes to the bowl and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Prepare the grill for medium-high heat. Thread 4-5 chicken cubes onto each skewer and discard any leftover marinade.
- Grease the grill grates and place the skewers on the grill. Grill for 10-12 minutes, flipping occasionally, until fully cooked.
- Remove from grill and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve hot and enjoy! 🍴
