Pan-Seared Salmon with Avocado Salsa
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets (6oz each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 ripe avocados, peeled and diced
- 1/2 small red onion, diced
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tbsp lime juice
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture over the salmon fillets.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets to the skillet, skin side up, and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- In a medium bowl, combine diced avocado, red onion, jalapeño pepper, cilantro, and lime juice.
- Serve salmon fillets topped with avocado salsa.
