- 3 lbs. fresh clams, washed and cleaned
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Melt the butter and add the garlic. Sauté for 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Add the clams, white wine, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until the clams have opened up. Discard any unopened clams.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.
