Cajun Shrimp Alfredo Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 pound fettuccine pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, and Cajun seasoning. Toss to coat.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer shrimp to a plate and set aside.
- Add garlic to the same skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese and whisk until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp to the sauce, tossing to coat. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
