Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta
This Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta recipe is a quick and easy dish that is sure to impress. The combination of tangy lemon and savory garlic perfectly complements the succulent shrimp and al dente pasta.
- 1 pound linguine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the linguine according to package directions until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until pink and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Add the garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes or until fragrant.
- Add the chicken broth and lemon juice to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 2-3 minutes or until slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked linguine and shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Serve immediately with chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper to taste.
