Classic Spaghetti and Meatballs Recipe

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized balls.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 10 minutes in total.
  5. Transfer the meatballs to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until cooked through.

  7. In the same skillet used for the meatballs, add the jar of tomato sauce, red wine, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes, or until heated through.
