- 1 pound fresh pizza dough
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt

- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a circle.
- Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled pizza pan and press the dough into the pan.

- Arrange the sliced mozzarella cheese over the tomato sauce.
- Sprinkle the chopped basil leaves on top of the cheese.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the pizza.
- Season the pizza with salt and black pepper.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
