Deviled Eggs Recipe
Deviled eggs are a classic appetizer that can be easily prepared in advance for a party or event. They're also a great snack or light lunch option. Follow this easy recipe to make your own.
Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1/8 tsp salt
- Paprika, for garnish
Instructions:
- Place the eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and let sit for 12 minutes.
- Drain the hot water and immediately rinse the eggs under cold running water.
- Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
- Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
- Mash the yolks with a fork and add mayo, yellow mustard, and salt. Mix well.
- Fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture.
- Sprinkle with paprika for garnish.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
