Mozzarella Sticks Recipe

These crunchy and cheesy mozzarella sticks are perfect for a party appetizer or a snack. Here's how to make them:

  1. Cut each stick of mozzarella in half crosswise to make 24 pieces.
  2. Place the flour in a shallow bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs in another shallow bowl.
  4. In a third bowl, combine the bread crumbs and parmesan cheese.
  5. Roll each piece of mozzarella in flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and then coat it in the bread crumb mixture.
  6. Place the coated mozzarella sticks on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Fry the mozzarella sticks in batches for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
  9. Remove the fried sticks with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  10. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
